Design Control and Approval Process

CVK As Digital Ambalaj, we work with the "zero error" principle in packaging production. This stage, which is the last stop of your design before it enters the printing line, ensures that the image on your digital screen is transferred to the physical packaging without any errors. The files you send are reviewed by our technical team and the production process begins after your approval.

Pre-Print Technical Checklist

Before uploading your design to our approval system, please check the following items one last time to speed up the process. Remember, our system only accepts files in PDF format .

1. Color and Mode Control Make sure all images and graphics are in CMYK mode. Converting Pantone or RGB colors to CMYK before printing may cause differences in color tones.

2. Status of Text and Fonts Verify that all text in your PDF file is "Convert/Outline" (vector drawing). This process completely prevents character shifts caused by font incompatibilities.

3. Image Clarity (300 DPI) Check that the resolution of the photos and logos used is at least 300 DPI. Low resolution images will cause pixelation or blurriness in printing.

4. Knife Mark and Bleed Compatibility Make sure that your graphics fit exactly on the template (knife mark) of the relevant packaging form and that 3 mm bleed is left outside the cutting lines.

How Does the Approval Process Work?

After uploading your design to the system, the following steps are followed before production:

Important Warning: Color Differences

Tone differences between 5% and 10% may occur between the luminous structure of digital screens (RGB) and the physical printing (CMYK) applied on the packaging. If you have a project with very high color sensitivity, we recommend that you request a "Digital Proof Print" before mass production.

DESIGN CONTROL AND APPROVAL PROCESS
Making sure your packaging looks perfect on our press is our priority. By manually checking potential errors (resolution, color mode, cut areas) in your file, we prevent loss of both time and cost. Print approval is always yours!
Technical File Upload and Preflight
  • The customer uploads the print file during the order or via the relevant page.
  • Our system performs initial checks such as file format and basic color mode.
  • Tip: The most suitable formats are .AI, .PDF (vector) or .TIFF over 300 DPI.
CVK Expert Control
Your file is examined in detail by our experienced graphics team.
Critical Points Checked:
Resolution and Visual Quality
Risk of blur or pixelation.
Color Mode
Whether the design is in CMYK (confirmation if Spot/Pantone is used).
Cutting and Safety Areas
Whether text and logos are at a sufficient distance from the cutting lines.
Fonts
Whether all fonts are outlined (vector).
Correction and Feedback
If There Is No Error
Your file advances directly to the Approval Stage.
If there is an error
Detected errors and necessary corrections are notified to you via e-mail/account panel with a detailed report. (Ex: "Fonts must be converted to vector.")
Print Preview and Final Approval
This is the most important step where the responsibility passes completely to the customer.
Go to the "Pending Approval" tab in your account dashboard.
